还记得不久之前，于仁颇黎向大家介绍的KUKA机器人DJ嘛，还有KUKA的圣经书写者？KUKA机器人一直与文化界走的非常近，特别是音乐界，他有非常多的身影出现，这一次在Istanbul的欧洲文化节，又见KUKA音乐机器人，而这一次来的是——架子鼓手。自从８月２日开始，这个演奏已经持续了将近有一个月时间了，地点在Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökcen的机场，如果最近有去欧洲旅游并且会到土耳其的朋友，不妨前去参观一下，感受一下机器人架子鼓音乐的魅力。当然，如果你的时间凑的刚刚好，而且又对Sinan Bokesoy感兴趣的话，那么，９月２０号在Çırağan Palace Kempinski，他还会和这个机器人音乐师同台表演。欣赏一下图片吧。

已经很久不用PALM的设备了，之前的palm treo 680也已经因为电池的问题（一天），及摄象头的问题（30万像素的），而被Blackberry 8320所代替，之前了解到了palm pre WebOS的，又说是基于linux的，而且与GOOGLE的系统结合的非常不错，这对于像我这种使用很多GOOGLE服务的人来说，这是不可缺少的。而且这可是系统级的整合，应该与G1有相似的结合度。
昨天晚上收到了WebOS的SDK可以下载的通知邮件，赶紧把它DOWN下来了，目前有三个版本可以使用。一个是macOSX的10.5及以上，windows XP还有ubuntu，但是无论那一个均需要使用virutal box来运行模拟器，MAC和XP下的没有测试，而ubuntu 版本，官方说明只有8.04的，是一个DEB包，down下来后直接在9.04下试安装居然可以完全兼容的运行，太捧了。

安装非常容易，直接是DEB包，双击或者在terminal 下输入安装均可，看你是哪种习惯了。安装成功后，直接在命令行下输入palm-emulator,就会自动调用virtualbox
来启动模拟器了，启动时会有一个NOVACOM服务的报警，不要理它，直接忽略就可以进入启动了。看图：

风格应该和之前的palm OS还是有一些类似的，是我喜欢的类型，使用一点GTD的朋友们也会喜欢这样的风格的
Calender界面
有三种帐户的集成可以做，分别是GOOGLE，facebook,及exchange的，如果公司的人是用outlook的，应该就可以直接与桌面同步了，但是没有lotus notes的，如果有的话就好了，因为我工作是用lotus note的看看日历内容显示，清晰明了
Contact界面
与calender界面一样，可以选择这GOOGLE，facebook,及exchange的，还是那句话，要是支持lotus note就好了

PHONE界面
没有多少好说的，清爽而且是我喜欢的苍翠欲滴的绿色
Messaging界面
也可以同时使用gtalk及以聊天的方式使用短信
多媒体的界面，PHOTO，MUSIC and Videos
Memo界面
非常漂亮，我喜欢这种水松板的背景及工字钉的效果，我家里就有一块水松板，会扎一些信息在上面，喜欢ING
时钟和闹钟
多任务的切换
个人觉得这种切换丝毫不亚于ubuntu下面的compiz的切换，流畅漂亮
还可以变的很小哦

I
purchased a Lenovo F31A laptop days ago, it is a great laptop except
the pre-installed OS VISTA, I really do not like it. As I have some
experence to use ubuntu on the PC, so I decide to install the Ubuntu
7.10 to the laptop. And the installation is very easy,just download
the iso file from ubutnu homepage and burn it to a CD-ROM, then use
this CD to boot laptop, follow the normal way to install ubuntu. It
can easily automaitcally detect almost all the hardware and install
the driver to them, except two hardware, the wireless card driver and
the sound driver.
WIRELESS
1.Download
a software named bcm43xx-fwcutter_20060108-6build1_i386.deb
and
install it.Here http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43 you
will find more details about b43.
2.Click the icon on the right
above panel—Restricted Drivers, and enable the firmware for
broadcom 43xx chipset family, then it will pop-up a window ask you to
slect the firmware to download, pls choose the second one which is
http://xeve.de/down/wl_apsta.o
,after finishing the download,ubuntu will automatically install the
firmware.
SOUND
I
have tested all the alsa driver version, and some patches, which
still have no effect to drive my sound card. Finally I found this
article http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=3768914&postcount=60
which help me to solve my sound card issue, so now I can listen
music and watch movies under my new laptop now.
